There are self-help techniques available for stopping panic attacks. I've heard of one called the Linden Method, which apparently costs close to $200. But there's also one called the One Move Technique that has hundreds of rave reviews, and costs only $68. There's more information about panic attacks at the website below.

Dealing with Phobias are tricky. My suggestion is to take baby-steps, although that may be difficult if you travel by plane a lot. If you feel an onset of attack, try to blank your mind. Tell yourself that you are fine and those walls are NOT closing in on you. Emerse yourself into something you enjoy, such as reading or cross stitching to distract yourself from your feelings. Practice breathing, yoga style, long deep relaxing breaths.

I hope you find something that works for you!
